JTribune expects its journalists and contributors to avoid conflicts that could undermine editorial independence or reader trust.

  • Writers should disclose relevant personal or financial conflicts to editors.
  • Gifts, favors or access must not determine coverage.
  • Plagiarism, fabrication and deceptive sourcing are prohibited.
  • News reporting and opinion should be clearly distinguishable.
  • People accused of wrongdoing should be described with appropriate legal and factual context.
  • Children, victims and vulnerable people should be treated with heightened care.
